Objects

The Object Series From Giovanni Lunardi.

In his artwork, Giovanni plays with multiple printed images in order to add depth to pictures. His challenge is to transform the images from flat to 3D.

In this series of artwork, objects are added to the images to give the sensation that part of the picture is materializing and trying to escape the flatness of the print.

Each artwork starts with a concept , then a photo shoot is scheduled with the necessary props. When Giovanni is happy with the images he took, he select the final one and, after any necessary retouching, the images are printed to size. The main print is mounted on a substrate and various object are created, then painted and glued on or next to the print.

Each artwork is mounted in a custom made shadowbox with acrylic glazing.
All our images are printed with the finest archival inks and papers.
